Senior Financial Analyst

The FP&A Sr. Analyst will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to forecast and communicate company financial performance and actual variances from expectations. This position will assist with the Company’s financial monthly and quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan, margin analysis, variance analysis, and special projects. The Sr. Analyst will provide financial modeling and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making. This role is a key asset for Advance Financial’s future growth.

  • Create and maintain sustainable financial models as needed to provide Senior Management with key operating and financial data 
  • Analyze current and past trends in all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Perform market analysis at both the company and product levels
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making
  • Contribute to the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, cash forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools
  • Create quarterly and monthly financial analysis reports
  • Implement financial dashboards and work with business intelligence tools


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (or similar); MBA preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Associate in Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Strategy or similar
  • Heavy financial modeling experience
  • Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
